The convention was great, overall. The last session was low in numbers, but a great message by a 20-something pastor named, Steven Furtick. Very passionate speaker. He preached from 1 Samuel 17 about David and Goliath. Here are his main points.

  • Work what you’ve got
  • Ignore the haters
  • Remember God’s faithfulness.

Since this was done at 11:30 and my flight didn’t leave until 6:20pm…I had a lot of time to kill. So, I went to The World of Coke. It was my cheapest option. What a cool place where you can watch how they make it, bottle it, and send it out. You also get a ‘free’ bottle of coke (it cost $15 just to get in). There’s a fun little cartoon before you enter into the building. Then it’s a ‘free for all’ tour. There are some pretty neat exhibits. Then, by favorite part, was the taste testing with 60 different coke drinks from all over the world. Here are some pics.
