Cultivating Prayer In YM

This is a picture of a wall in our youth group. I call it our Prayer Wall. It’s just a wall with chalkboard paint. I put out a bunch of different colored chalk and let the students write out their prayer requests on it. If you look close enough, you can really see how honest the students get. I try to read the wall at least once a week and pray for the things listed. Every once in a while I remind the students that it’s there in hopes that they too take time to pray for the things on the wall.

About every 3-4 months I erase it and start new.

What do you do to cultivate prayer in your youth ministry?
