Foggy View

I had an interesting experience in the fog the other day. As I was driving to go workout, I couldn’t see more than 100 yards in front of me. It felt a little dangerous to drive the speed limit. Traffic lights, head light, and rear lights could hardly be seen until the last minute. What made it worse was that it was dark out…pre-sunshine. Then I had this thought like God was speaking to me. And perhaps he was.

In life we have tough decisions to make. We all are on a path, a road to a specific destination. Do you know what that destination is? If we don’t know the specific destination in life we are headed toward we at least have a general idea, right?. Well, during that journey we hit confusing areas in life, distractions, and messes. Those are the fog in our life. We don’t know where the path in front of us is going. Yet, we see a small glimpse of a light. We hope and pray that is what we are too follow, but we’re not sure. And there in lies the issue. What do you do when you’re not sure? When the fog is so thick, you have no idea what lies in front of you.

I’ll leave you there for now in hopes that maybe some of you might shed some ‘bright’ light to help others see through the fog.
